Dear Patricia
I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation concerning my relationship with you and indeed all of us at the Toronto Airport
Christian Fellowship.
You have been a friend of our ministry over many years and a close friend with Mary Audrey Raycroft who is on our Pastoral Staff.
We have always found your ministry in the Spirit to be Biblical and life giving, and have had you speaking at our various
conferences many times over the years.
I have never heard you say or teach anything that I would totally disagree with. I do know, that of late, you have had experiences
and encounters with the Lord that have shaped and changed the direction and emphasis of your ministry. I noticed that as a result
of these experiences, your heart and demeanor seemed to have a new softness and tenderness that was gracious, gentle and teachable.
I understand that there have been questions arising out of areas of your teaching concerning the righteous dead saints and
the cloud of witnesses mentioned in scripture. Much dialogue has now taken place for which we are all better informed and
relationships strengthened. Never-the-less, we all recognize that this is a challenging and difficult area to understand and pastor.
I appreciate your commitment to be teachable, correctable and accountable with this area, yet at the same time, press on into
God for that which He is saying to us about various heavenly revelations.
Recently I was reflecting again on what Jesus said to Nathaniel in John ch 1. “You shall see greater things than these.
You shall see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.” There are certainly “open heaven”
experiences that are intended for the believers here on earth, and they are intended both to teach and edify. It is an area where
others have ‘gone wrong' in the past as well, and so I am pleased that God is leading someone like yourself, who is certainly
not a novice in the things of God, to take us all deeper into Him
Patricia, I know your commitment to Scripture and sound doctrine. I know your love and respect for the whole body of Christ.
I know you are a seasoned woman of God and I trust your integrity to press ahead in these areas. It stimulates me to remind
myself that there is always MORE of God to be revealed to us. Also, we must never let the fear of deception shut us down from
seeking after more of Him and finding and experiencing new levels of love and revelation in God. I have taught for years that
we must have more faith in God's ability to bless and lead us than we have in the devil's ability to deceive us.
Patricia, I know that you love Him. It is not just a love for revelation, or a love for Truth per se, but a deep committed
love for the Triune God; the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When one is really and truly rooted and grounded in
the love of God, committed to scripture and walking with integrity before both God and your fellow Christians such as you are,
it gives me faith and confidence that as you work to experience and pastor these difficult areas of new truth and revelation,
God will enable you to ‘get it right' so that the blessing can be passed on to the rest of us.
We love you and respect you Patricia, and cannot wait to have you back again to be with us in Toronto. Your life and
ministry has been a great blessing to our church family and friends over the years.
Much love in Jesus,
Dr. John Arnott, Founding Pastor,
