March 2006
To whom it may concern,
Patricia King has ministered twice in my church on Sunday mornings and two nights to a group of my leadership.
She was anointed in her preaching, nothing that was said was unscriptural. She has a firm grip on scripture and brought
it forth clearly. My wife and I had lunch with her and were blessed to see many Christ-like qualities in her. She has
love and compassion for souls, a true sensitivity to the heart of God, and a true burden for our city of L.A. Jesus said
we would know them by their fruit, our church was blessed by her, we had no problem.
Since I have read her book, “Third Heaven, Angels… and other stuff,” I was aware of her teachings. I have heard that
some pastors are upset with her teaching on third heaven experience. The apostle Paul was the one who taught these truths.
We all can see clearly Ephesians 1:3, 2:6, etc and quote these or boldly proclaim them, but if anyone endeavors to
experience this, they get in trouble. If we are truly “seated in the heavenly place with Jesus” shouldn't we be seeing
and hearing from that place? Is it strange that someone would try to teach us to open up to the realm of God? Several
people in my church who are mature believers, 20 - 30 years in the Lord, have gone to her Glory School. The fruit of
this was that they loved God more and came back with a greater passion for the Lord. These are people that have been
to a lot of conferences and like myself have heard or personally know a lot of the well known people in the charismatic
portion of the church.
Having pastored 27 years, I've seen many things that have concerned me; unbalanced teaching, a lack of character and
holiness, a lukewarmness in the church, people chasing the latest “fad” doctrine, error in deliverance ministry or
spiritual warfare teaching to name a few. Patricia King is clear, tender and humble. I like her very much as a person,
she is radical, but in a good way. I want a deeper relationship with Jesus and it's clear to me that Patricia King is
also running after the Lord. As a person she may make a few mistakes (I'm not aware of any) but it's OK with me
because as long as a person is humble and loving, the Spirit will correct us. I endorse her and stand with her.
Blessings,
