UPDATE FROM EXTREME PROPHETIC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

JULY 31, 2007

Dear Readers,

As a ministry, we are so excited about what God is doing in the earth today, and all the ways He is glorifying His Name and making His presence known to His people. In our meetings and events, we frequently see manifestations of the Kingdom of God that have stirred believers and non-believers to turn their hearts even closer to Jesus. We declare that Jesus truly is the King of Kings! People are being saved, healed, and delivered through the power of Jesus and in His Name.  We rejoice that this sovereign move of the Holy Spirit is producing abundant fruit for the Kingdom of God! However, we also understand that controversy will always accompany any move of God’s Spirit.

Over the past three years, several leaders in the prophetic and apostolic community have publicly shared concerns about Extreme Prophetic’s Glory School and about our beliefs and teachings regarding the Third Heaven. As a ministry, we welcome this input, and we seriously consider it. As some of you know, we submitted the Glory School to an intensive theological audit. The Glory School and Third Heaven teachings passed the theological review. We also posted a 2006 accountability report on the Extreme Prophetic Website.

Following these sincere efforts, some continued to speak and circulate negative words about the ministry. Patricia King has expended an enormous amount of effort to dialogue and discuss all concerns with the sincere believers who expressed their concerns. For example, on April 18 of this year, Extreme Prophetic, in a spirit of unity, hosted a roundtable meeting that included our advisors, accountability team members, and the ministers who raised questions and theological concerns about the Glory School and Third Heaven experiences. We are extremely grateful that they made time in their busy schedules to join us in Phoenix for an entire day to talk through any and all issues.

During the meeting, everyone had an opportunity to share their opinions, discuss issues and share their hearts. It was time well spent. Following the meeting, Peter Wagner, who oversaw the meeting, issued a public letter stating that none of Patricia’s or Extreme Prophetic’s theology or doctrines were in error.

Now several months later, once again Extreme Prophetic and Patricia continue to face similar concerns and negative words. Patricia King has prepared a video to share her heart with you about the current move of God we are experiencing and the controversy swirling around it. To watch the video, please click here.

As a ministry, we are commanded by Jesus to always walk in humility, love and have teachable hearts. At all times, we will continue to welcome all input from believers who desire to share their hearts with us -- whether it is to challenge us, sharpen us or support us. We are also committed to press in for all that God has for all believers in this season of outpouring. We are committed to always walk in love during this time of controversy. We bless everyone who has been involved in this controversy, and we honor them for their passion for God and their desire for His Truth. We refuse to choose or accept division, because the World will know God’s Son through our love for one another and through the unity of the Body. We have one mission: to glorify God through the Name of Jesus. We will continue to humbly and passionately, with love, pursue God’s heart as we follow all of His ways.

As the CSA Board, we once again publicly express our support of Ron and Patricia King. We honor them and have personally witnessed how they have walked through this season of controversy with humility, love and integrity. Their conduct has been a blessing to our entire ministry and to the Body of Christ. May we all embrace our challenges in the same manner. During this time, we thank them and bless them for honoring Our Lord Jesus, through their daily walk with Christ.

We bless all of you and thank you for your support of this ministry. Remember to choose love in all you do, because love never fails!  And remember that God loves you with an everlasting love!

WHAT IS THE CONFLICT?

  FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
EXTREME PROPHETIC AND CHRISTIAN SERVICES ASSOCIATION

APRIL 2006

Dear Reader,

In 2003, Patricia King was questioned/challenged by a few leaders in the Body regarding her Glory School teaching and in particular the aspects of Third Heaven, terminology, and experience. At that time she had a theological review and her teachings passed the theological audit.

An official letter of concern was sent out from a prophetic network

In 2005, some concerns in the Phoenix area were made known publicly by a respected prophetic network in the region. The network never dialogued with Patricia in regards to these concerns, never allowed her the opportunity to clear up hearsay, never returned phone calls or emails from Patricia requesting a meeting to address their issues and talk it through; they simply issued a warning letter via email to their entire network of pastors. This letter was then forwarded to many and the ripple effect has spread to enormous levels of exaggeration and unwarranted concern.

In the letter, they stated, “there remains a residue of the New Age in her ministry that can be spiritually misleading and therefore potentially dangerous.” As a result, there are rumors spreading that Patricia is operating in witchcraft, new age spirits, and is influenced by regional principalities of witchcraft. This statement has produced serious and unmerited ramifications.

In addition to the swirls that were caused locally in Phoenix, there has also been a spreading of these communications through some members of this organization to other parts of the country and other nations. Each report gets more exaggerated. The concerns have also been brought up in other venues of roundtable and back room discussion. It is all spreading.

The nature of forerunning

Patricia is a prophetic forerunner and it is common when fresh revelation is introduced to the Body in the forerunning stage for some opposition and uneasiness to arise. This has been demonstrated time and time again throughout church history. It was true in Jesus' day when the theologians of His time did not understand the revelation of Truth He carried and was. In a forerunning period it takes time to build all the theological structures and to tighten and mature the understanding of the revelation the Lord is introducing to the Body. Patricia will share more on what she is currently forerunning in her positional paper. She will also address the specific concerns propagated by this organization and others.

What about the fruit?

Matthew 7:18 says that a good tree cannot produce bad fruit and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Jesus taught us to examine the fruit. Patricia and her entire team at Extreme Prophetic have spent the last four months preparing a fruit inspection investigation and report. We have requested evaluations from all the ministries she has ministered to in 2005 and the first part of 2006. We invited them to openly and honestly express any problems that arose as a result of her visit and to report any alarming doctrine that she might have shared. We also invited evaluation from other prophetic and apostolic ministers who have witnessed the fruit of Patricia's ministry over the years. In addition, we received reports from her staff, family, and advisory team as well as the local pastors and elders of her home church. Although we aggressively searched for specific instances of “bad fruit” we have to date found not one in any of the reports sent to us.

The reports are available for your review

Patricia has full respect and love for those who have spread the negative reports and concerns. Although she has been deeply wounded in many situations through this trial her walk is one of utmost integrity, honesty, love, and forgiveness. As a result, we have prepared a full “ Fruit Inspection Report ” for you to review. See menu links below. This report is not one of defense, but rather of accountability.

It is an honor to work and labor with Patricia. We as a board have been very impressed with the way she has walked through this very difficult and trying season. She has been a great model for her team and has truly embraced the cross, which is indeed her life's message. She has kept her focus on the One she loves. Her entire team is completely confident in her integrity, love, humility, and doctrinal accuracy. We know first hand of her love for the Lord and the Body of Christ. We covet your prayers, love and support at this time.
