Introduction |
| |
We love serving all who feel called to join Webchurch. As staff, we have and
are prepared to sacrifice our time, finance, and gifts for the sake of the
Body.
We want to operate as a Kingdom minded church. As a result, we want to
communicate our heart with you. The following is an overview of our beliefs
on the subject of divine provision. |

Tithes
and Offerings |

The Subject of Tithes and Offerings |
| |
As a ministry, we are very committed to
the Word and the principles in the Word. This includes what the
Bible has to say about the "tithe," the10% (first fruits) of
our income that goes to the Lord. The tithe is a holy act of
worship. It represents that we bring to the Lord the first and
best of all that we are and have. The scriptures teach us that
when we bring all the tithes into the storehouse (the storehouse
is the place where you are spiritually fed and the place that
feeds others), the heavens open and the Lord pours out blessings
that we cannot contain. He also promises to rebuke the devourer
on our behalf and to make sure that we come to full fruitfulness.
He further promises that the nations will call you blessed, for
you shall be a delightful land (see Malachi 3:8-12). WOW! The
Lord is so good. We believe Him at His Word and hold fast to
the value of tithing. |

What if I can't afford it? |
| |
Some have said, "I can't afford to tithe.” I would simply answer this by saying that you can’t afford not to! If you feel you can’t afford to tithe it is probably because you aren’t
tithing. If you look after honoring the Lord before anything
or anyone else, He will honor you. During hard times, your honor
for the Lord will be tested. Always give Him what is due. Consider
honoring Him in this way to be more important than having your
own needs met - and you will probably discover that your needs
will always be more than met! |
| |
 |
Where do I tithe? |
| |
In some cases, XPwebchurch is going to
be the storehouse for our congregation - the place where they
receive their food and nurture. If XPwebchurch is your storehouse,
then of course you will bring your tithe here. If your storehouse
is partly the xpwebchurch and partly a local church then you
would most likely distribute the tithe accordingly. The
tithe belongs to the Lord, not to the local church, xpwebchurch,
or any other church. No church has a claim on the tithe. It
is His, and it belongs to Him! Where we bring it, however,
depends on where you are being fed. |
|
 |
What if my income is low? |
| |
We often have emails that come in from young
people or those on limited income saying, "Do we have to tithe or give offerings to be part of the xpwebchurch … we are students … or … we live on a low income and we don't have the extra money to tithe.” The
XP website is free for all to use. It is loaded with all kinds
of video teachings, prophetic and prayer directives, resources,
and more; all as a gift to all. The xpwebchurch, however, is
a committed church family and so there are privileges (like personal
pastoral care, apostolic covering, intercession covering, free
audio feeds/MP3 downloads, free monthly webcasts of meetings,
and chat rooms for the congregation) that are only available
to our committed church family. Our church family honors the
Lord together with our tithes and offerings, and as a result
we can reach and spiritually feed nations all around the world.
If you don't feel that you want to make a financial commitment,
you can still access the general Extreme Prophetic site and enjoy
all of its resources. After all the general part of our website
was prepared for you so that you could be blessed and grow in
the Lord. |

Here are some thoughts that might help you process. |
| |
Let's say, you only make $100 per month. The tithe of that amount is $10. If you tithe to the Lord the first and the best ($10), the heavens will open. You will find that you will receive back more than the $10. Perhaps someone will treat you to a latte, put gas in your car, give you some groceries, or perhaps you will be given a discount when you shop, or even experience miracles of provision and breakthrough. These are all normal and common possibilities.
When you add all your blessings up over a month, you will find that you received back more than the $10. If you didn't tithe, those blessings possibly wouldn't have come to you. The other point is that when you tithe, the money you have stretches. Ron and I give more than one tithe to the Lord each month and are extremely blessed. The more we give, the more blessed we are. So, we encourage all believers to tithe. All our team are tithers and that is why our ministry is so blessed. We all make sure the Lord receives the first and the best. When each of us tithe, then a corporate blessing falls on all.
If all our xpwebchurch congregation are tithers, then a corporate spiritual blessing will come on all. Praise the Lord! |

What about Offerings? |
| |
Offerings are different from the
tithe. Offerings are in addition to your tithe. Your ministry does not stop with a tithe, as you can bless many needs with an offering. Some examples would be, when you give a special offering for the poor, for specific projects and needs, for missions, etc.
The Lord says that He will cause
all grace to abound to you, so that you will always have all
sufficiency in everything and that you will have an abundance
for every good work (see 2 Corinthians 9:8).
The Lord returns the offering you give. Some 30, some 60, some
100 fold. (Mark :20). What an amazing promise! Heaven's economy and interest rates
are better than those of the earth.
Again, if you do not have it, believe for it. The Lord says that He will supply
seed to the sower. Ask Him for it and He will supply it. Don't wait until after
you have spent your money on all your needs and desires to see if there is anything
left over. I would like to suggest that you sow into His Kingdom first. Make
your giving to Him a priority and then care for your own needs later. You will
find that He will bless you in many ways as a result. His Word is true. In the
measure that you sow, you will reap (2 Corinthians 9:6-11).
Remember the story of the widow and her son. They only had a little flour and
oil. The widow was going to make her son and herself a last meal with it and
die. Elijah came and basically said, "look after me first.” When
she did that, there was more than enough to last her and her house throughout
the entire famine (1 Kings 17:8-16). |

No poor among us. |
| |
Extreme Prophetic and XPwebchurch are
committed to this principle. That is why our people are
so blessed. We are trusting that EVERYONE who comes under our
covering will abide in the blessing of the Lord and that there
will be none poor or sick among us! Let's put our faith
out together for that.
